Yes. I am doing the 30 day hair challenge! For all of you girls who don't know what the 30 day hair challenge is, it is where you wear your hair differently FOR THIRTY DAYS. Not repeating the style at all, Tomorrow will be my first day and I will stop at the end of the month, this challenge will not be easy, seeing that I am a full time student and have zero to no time at all in the morning to do something special with my hair. Wish me luck? Haha. My announcement video will be recorded and hopefully posted by the end of the week and I hopefully will start my lipstick paradise series tomorrow! I am now an official member of glamourdolleyes.com and hopefully if I can get enough subscribers on youtube I can get sponsored and possibly even have a contest! Possibly, even on the blog(:
You guys jut need to start subscribing!

Lipstick Paradise!
Did I spell that right?
So! I realized that my first youtube video actually worked! AHH! Haha. So, I will be posting an anouncement video on my youtube channel very, very soon! But basically it will be talking about what is coming up on my youtube channel. The basic "things" I was talking about were some series that I would be doing. One of them was called "Wearable sundats" and I will explain the title in the video. The idea originated from a beauty guru on youtube by the screen name xSparkage and I decided to do my own little series but transformed it into my own idea.
So, another series I was talking about was a little thing where I would buy new lipsticks about every week to every other week. Just because that can really add up. So, in this series I would be trying out different products and shades and giving you guys my feedback. I will explain this in more detail in my video. So, be on the look out for that.
A big thing for me on youtube and this blog is pleasing you guys. If there is something else you readers want to see on either my youtube channel or this blog please let me know. Either email me at madisonmoilanen@yahoo.com, leave a comment here on the blog, or let me know via youtube.
So, the series will be on youtube and sometimes, if I can remember, it will be on this blog as well. I have already purchased the first lipstick from covergirl. And I am debating on whether or not to keep up with the brand and do different shades, or whether or not I should just do different brands as well. Let me know! And, I'll talk to you girlies later!

In's and Out's 1
In's and out's is one of my favorite blog posts ever invented. Just because it gives the reader an inside look of what you love and what you hate. So,
In's:
#1 BH Cosmetics 88 Matte Palette.
I am in LOVE with this palette. The colors are super pigmented and EXTREMELY gorgeous. Now, to be honest I was very hasty to try this palette just because I had never heard of the company before so, yeah. Well, thanks to my friend youtube, I typed in bhcosmetics reveiw and numerous videos came up. Little did I know, that BH Cosmetics had their very own channel! I was so shocked. I clicked on the video and knew I just had to get one. So I ordered mine and it was about $25 with Shipping and handleing thanks to my coupon code which is sprng10 which will take 10% off your entire purchase.
#2 MAC Studio Finish SPF 15 Foundation
Now, again. Extremely hasty to try this item. Now, I had used MAC skin items before and I just didn't think they were engineered very well. They were thick and cakey. And I have acne prone skin so it's not like I'm going to use a lot of the product anyway. So, we went down to MAC and were looking around when I saw the studio finish foundation. And, everything about it was different. The packaging, the smell and even the consistancy! I was so happy(: The sales woman walked up to me and, I must have been gaga-eyed or something because she asked me if I was doing okay that evening. She matched me with my right shade which was NW20 if anyone wanted to know(: And to my surprise it's one of my favorite foundations. Let alone my favorite MAC product and I am like a MAC junkie.
#3 Claires
Now, I know I am far to old to like the store Claires. But, recently I have been impressed with their products. I KNOW! Claires!! So, I picked up a few things. I got the eyelash curler ($8.50) which is AMAZING! Literally, I have the NYX curler and the claires one works even better. Than NYX! I also got the pink and black polka dot brush set. ($8.50) Which was so darling and it was so inexpensive that I had to get it. I really did. It comes with 2 eyeshadow brushes, large and medium, an angled brush which was a brush I didn't even HAVE. It also came with a foundation/ blush brush. Which was to the point where I could really use it for both. And, it came with one of those brushes that comes with the lash comb and brow comb. And the brush handles are so CUTE!
Outs:
#1 Treseme Hairspray
It says freeze and control, when all it is doing is giving your hair a bland and sticky texture. No volume what so ever and it is not worth $12. That's how much I spent on a hairspray that won't even hold anything in place. You can get this hairspray at mainly any drugstore or walmart store. You can also get it at Trade Secret. Which is where I got mine. But I do not recommend using this product. Now, with other tresemme products I have had better luck. Ecspecially the shampoo's.
#2 Stridex
First off, it smells like rogain. Or however you spell that. It stinks. I was also not happt about the fact that it tore up my face. I have this scar on my hairline and I had a few pimples right below it. I started wiping the pad ontop of the acne and it inevitably rubbed onto my scar. It hurt SO badly. It felt like I had just gotten an eyebrow wax, which we all know, is not the most comforting feeling. It got to the point where I was using it for about 3 and a half weeks. Where, I got zero results. Zip, nada, nothing! For 3 and a half weeks!
#3 Iced white chocolate mocha's.
They are NASTY and they leave this really gross feeling on the roof of your mouth. I have always hated white chocolate. But, It had been years since I had any. So we drove over to starbucks and we both got iced white chocolate mocha's. I almost threw up. I hated the texture and the flavor was... just plain gross.
So, there you have it. The in's and out's #1! I was super excited to share this with you guys. So, I hpe you enjoyed reading this(:

Youtube Video Attempt #1
So, as you can see I tried to make a youtube video. Key word, tried. So, I was getting everything together. Light fixtures, makeup brushes, the makeup itself, etc. So, I get my camera out, I plan out the makeup look I will be doing. So, I decided on a natural/ dramatic look. With an eye-popping lip color.
So, I get to the point where I was ready to start filming. I set-up my camera and I press the record button. I say my introduction since it was my very first youtube video. So, I continue to start applying the foundation and I hear, "Are you talking to yourself?!" I turn around and it's my brother. Great! I turn around dumb-struck. He walks over and grabs a towel and shakes his head and mumbles. "Wow, am I the only normal one?" And he walks out. I was so mortified! I quickly shut off the camera. I finished my look without filming it. I guess, I'll just have to do it again later.
So. Are you guys okay if I do the tutorial on here? So I don't have to go through another episode of humiliation. Haha. Over dramatic much? Jeez Madison(: So I will post the tutorial? Okay. I'll just try to film it later this week. Okay?

Ulta vs. Sephora
What's the difference? They sell the same exact type of products, offer the same amount of assistance. So what seperates these stores. Well, to start off let's compare the prices to the urban decay primer potion. At sephora. For just one of the primer's you could spend about $18. But, at ulta, it's about $30. See the difference? Now, I am not saying that Ulta is worse than sephora. I am just saying that, two stores that sell the exact same products should have the same prices. Don't you agree? So, another difference that might even out the levels between the infamous feud. Ulta sells NYX products, but! Sephora doesn't. But, is that the only difference? The prices are better at sephora. But Ulta has a bigger variety. So, would you rather settle and still have money in your new coach wristlet? Or, would you rather spend more, but leave with a bigger variety of products? Well, there you have it. So, now you decide. Which is better? Sephora, or Ulta.
